Title: MEGAPOWER PROMO SET
Post by: BasiliskFang on December 04, 2012, 10:00:57 AM
Which cards would you say (besides OPDs) merit owning 2 or 3 copies?

GAMBIT FULL HOUSE - good damage?
MARROW SKELETAL PLATES - draw?
PROFESSOR X SHI'AR BATTLE ARMOR - eh?
SHADOWCAT NINJA ADEPT - good a/d
WOLVERINE TRACKING SENSES - meh?
LOCATION: TEAM OVERPOWER - maybe this by default because it is immediately useful?

All of the cards are great, with the possible exception of Professor X's card. But he didn't need anything else anyway.

If I'm using the charactes, I tend to use two of each - Full house, Ninja Adept, Skeletal Plates.

I only use 1 tracking senses, but it's hardly a 'meh' card. It's offsuit for Wolverine, and the effect can be very handy. Though truthfully, I mostly get use of it from a battlesite.

I like having 3 of great cards at least.  Gambit's Full House is worth playing 3, and Marrow's Skeletal Plates is pretty good in my opinion... I play 3 of that one.

I like having 3 Tracking Senses and 3 Ninja Adept, but you probably won't ever use more than 2 at a time.

Shiar Battle Armor is a battlesite card.  I don't think I've ever considered using it with Professor X.

I tend to use 2 or 3 for Gambit

I always use 3 for Marrow (it's DTR, so getting a duplicate in a hand just means you have a plain avoid, still not bad)

I've only ever used Prof's from a Battlesite, but I've used it to pretty good effect there. The right character doesn't care about the Energy loss.

I pretty much only ever use 1 for Shadowcat, because she has a pretty good handful of good cards (esp. w/Marvels)

I usually use 2 for Wolvie, unless I'm really trying to reduce all dup's
