Title: 2 CT specials = ?
Post by: Hotobu on December 14, 2012, 03:05:22 AM
What happens when two CT Specials (All attacks made on ____ are made on Target teammate until teammate is
KO'd. Teammate may defend.) are crossed over in play. i.e. Mandarin uses it on Onslaught, and Onslaught uses it on Mandarin? Are they both unable to be attacked until the special is negated?

QuoteMeta #12: An attack which is shifted from one Character to another cannot be defended by a card which was already in play at the time of the attack.

QuoteMeta #13: Once an attack has been shifted, it cannot be shifted again.

A.K.A. in the scenario presented, all attacks made against Mandarin would now be against Onslaught, who must defend or get hit.  All attacks made against Onslaught would now be against Mandarin, who must defend or get hit.  Teammate defenses would still apply.

A better use of these cards would be to have Mandarin target X-babies and Onslaught target X-babies.  All attacks would then be made against X-babies until X-babies are KO'ed or cannot be attacked.

Why X-babies?  15 point character.  Very likely to be seen in this deck, regardless of who the 4th memeber is.
