A number of us simply add each others contact info to our Skype or MSN messenger accounts. So when we are online, we show up to one another and simply bid greetings and say if we care for a match. :)
OPO does crash at times, but I notice it tends to do that only when certain types of plays are made or when you fiddle around too much with the commands, at least that's been my experience. I've played a number of games without any interruptions.
is there a central skype or messenger list?

That's great you've been playing a lot of OPO. I'm trying to find more people but since I'm usually on late at night in the West Coast, most of the people on the forums are pretty much asleep at that hour I gather. :-\
@Steve - I tried emailing you @ msn but I couldnt get it to work. I gues skype has replaced MSN?
