Title: morph's power mimic and gen 13 vs the regulators
Post by: breadmaster on March 31, 2014, 09:16:13 PM
No cards with the word "Negate" may be played this battle.

do you think power mimic could copy a negate when this event is in play?

I don't think so.  Even though the card technically doesn't contain the word "negate", when it mimics one it becomes that card.  The wording might not be there explicitly, but the meaning behind the card stands.

yeah, that's the issue.

looking at the guide to playing specials, it says it acts like the special copied, and to play as if the character (morph's) name is on the card, but it never says play like the text is on the card

splitting hairs, but that's nothing new to this game ;)
