Title: HL used defensively?
Post by: AO user on April 06, 2014, 11:34:33 PM
the wiki says " When played defensively, it blocks an attack that contains the specified Power Type and # and prevents further attacks that battle from Power Cards of a specified Power Type and #."   but is it character specific?  If Brainiac throws a 7 I card at Bats & he can stop it (& prevent other high I pc attacks.  Can it be used to defend teammates like a DB special or is it character specific defense only?
???

That's.. a bit of a lie. The wiki says two things, there's the explanation text and the infobox to the side. The infobox says no to Defensive.

So the answer is.. no, it cannot be used defensively. There's a lot of work to be done on the wiki to reflect the proper rules.

the rule of thumb is that if the card says 'opponent' it can't be played defensively

I know 2 exceptions are negates, and invisibles woman's marvels card.  are there any others?
