I've read the wiki and the meta rulings, but I still have some questions I'd like to clarify.
If I understand correctly, Cap's BA CANNOT be negated, neither when it's used for an attack, or after the fact?
If this is correct, then how does one classify a "defensive special card"? I would have begun by saying that a defensive special card is a card that can used defensively, but if it can't be negated, and a negate can be used defensively, then that musn't be completely correct.
For example, I would say that that AD is, without question, a defensive special card. Is a defensive special card a card that can ONLY be used defensively?
What I believe to be unclear, however, is whether or not CC is defensive special card, mainly due to the premise that Cap's BA cannot be negated. Both an AO and CC can be used offensively and defensively.

Any special card that is playable defensively may be used to stop Cap's Super Soldier card.
Meaning, it can be negated either as a defense or after you've taken the hit.
CC specials could also be used, as they are specials.
You would NOT, however, be able to play an activator against Cap's BA special, as all cards used in the defense must meet the requirements. And since activators are not specials, you wouldn't be able to play the activator to retrieve the special from the site.
