Title: Stacking EQ on Defense
Post by: teesaw on November 20, 2014, 10:19:39 AM
I'm playing around with the idea of putting Professor X in a deck (w/ Shi'Ar Battle Armor) and Henry Pym in the battlesite (with Goliath).  Ignoring the fact that it's a 3-card defensive play, which I would frown upon in most situations, can I stack both of those cards on top of a 2F power card to make a 7F? (2 + 3 + 2)

I'd like to then follow it with a <=5F 3F ally card for 8F, or something useful.  Any thoughts?

Yes, stacking them would work and is perfectly legal I think.

Thanks Jack - for the sake of argument, could we play telepathic coordination on the same defensive turn?  Is there no limit to the number of cards played as part of that defensive move?

I don't believe there's one. If you need to block a 9 with a 2 with 3 cards stacked on top, I think it's legal.
