Title: Legacy / Obfuscate & teamworks
Post by: AO user on January 06, 2015, 09:36:53 PM
So if GI card is played successfully an hideout discover event occurs,  if maverick / Post plays a TW ( event doesn't affect them) CAN others PLAY power card follow ups?  THEY are NOT playing a TW...or are they?  This came up in last Sunday's game & we don't know.  Thoughts?

ya, team mates can play follow up, only the initial launching of the teamwork has been cancelled by the event card, since the even missed maverick or post they'll be able to start the teamwork.

beast acrobatics doesn't stop TW NOR  the PC follow ups because they are part of the TW attack.  So does that mean power card follow ups ARE teamwork attacks. Meta 86 seems to suggest they are.

Correct, acrobatics only allows opponent to attack beast with attacks made with universe cards, so that's the teamwork and the power cards that got the universe bonus from the teamwork card.

It's funny though that if you play a Universe: ally you can't hit Beast with the follow up special...probably because it doesn't get a bonus...that's when captain universe comes into play!

LOL

Acrobatics was used to show that power cards are teamwork attacks so in original question I propose teammates may NOT play follow ups like meta 86 suggests .... But the ally / cap universe tidbit is something I never considered ( wringing hands together maniacally)
