I mentioned that I was working on re-doing my DC3 set. Revising, breaking up into multiple sets and maybe making it print sized. Larry's memorial auction for Ed made me realize people are willing to pay for actual cards. I'm never going to print a set myself and sell it, but i am going to make more of my stuff preformatted for printing so that if people really want to they can have them printed for themselves. Right now these are formatted for MPC.
I've been breaking my Image set up. I'm going to make sets for Top Cow, Wildstorm, Homage/Extreme and an Image 2. Right now I've started on the Top Cow set. I"ll be including proxy cards for most of the Rare stuff from the original Image set. (If I skip something you want proxied, just let me know) So far there are 3 new characters, 3 reformatted characters and a bunch of proxy cards. I'll post text at some point.

Angelus i've seen before. chuu did a higher point version with the same "New Host" card. otherwise, different but similar.
i've seen 5 other Cyblade character cards besides yours, all with slightly different grids. yours is the first full set of specials.
Heatwave i have not seen done. if someone ever makes the DC Mick Rory version, i'll have to make allowances.
question: what do you mean by "print shop ready"? the cards came it at 2.75" X 3.75" when i downloaded them. i thought the established card size was 2.5" X 3.5".
By print shop ready I'm referring to the bleed area around the edges. That extra .25 inches. These were made based off of Make Playing Cards template. If you submit the 2.5 x 3.5 cards to a print shop you run the risk of them not quite being perfectly lined up and you may have solid edges on your templates. But you can get honest to goodness real cards printed. (The option used is most often a deck of 52 playing cards with "custom front and back".
The Star Wars CCG people and Board Game Geek people have been using these online printshops for years. Artscow was the first, MPC is the preferred now. In the last half year they have been cracking down on things that are copyrighted more often so it is harder to get orders through. I have a feeling that some have local print shops that can do these things too.
I've never done it myself. I'm too cheap. I've had at least 1 print my Marvels set and a few people print some of my Star Wars stuff. (It's kinda cool to see)
i, too, am too cheap. my printing is on 80 lb. high-gloss picture paper. works well enough if you put them in sleeves.

nice job on Magdelena - different from chuu's version, but very similar. same grid with different Artifact-oriented IA, several similar but different specials. you know you've got it right when others see the same (or similar) in a character as you do.

One more tonight. Samantha Argent from the Hunters Killers series. Argent for short. She was interesting to craft. Her first attempt at using her powers blew up a train and killed the people she was trying to save. So her suit is actually to dial down and direct her powers. Hence the Inherent ability. She's shown keeping the ledger of how many she's saved vs killed so hence the modified AC for Ledger. The FT seemed to fit.

i like how you did that. Uncontrolled Blast is suit-less, so her full energy potential (without the IA) is achieved. works for me.
i had to file her under "Samantha Argent" to avoid confusion with DC's "Argent" (Antonia [Toni] Monetti).
speaking of suits (or suit-less), the art for Bio-Electric Blast reminds me of the recent news articles i've seen about women going to sporting events with "painted-on" T-shirts (guys do it, so why not?). i know of no material in the real world that can conform to body shape like that. i have to wonder who the artist's model was...

totally new character for me.
at first glance i thought the SD (Incoming!) was too much for non-OPD. but when you get right down to it, it's not so much different from an FC (5x must be defended twice). considering all of his numerical attack specials are base-4S, it's not so much. the only glitch i see in the mechanic is late in hand, opponent can't defend & won't concede - you keep pulling "Incoming!" over and over until you win venture (or opponent concedes). how many are you going to carry in your deck? bottom line is what the hey - why not?
i later noticed that Incoming! directs you to attack the Reserve with the drawn card. by my reasoning, if Opponent's Reserve has moved up to the Front Line, the draw/attack is null & void. more of a case for non-OPD.
