Hands down best over all production of an Overpower CCG video I have ever seen. Two minor corrections: Mission control was released after Powersurge, and Ice Man: The Ice Man was from X-Men not IQ. Great job! Intro midi from the animated series tickled my heart.

I did post a comment telling people to find our site.  It wouldn't let me post a hyperlink, but I did describe how to search for it by overpower forum.  It's the first result, so hopefully anyone who is interested will find it.  I am always trying to find ways to reach out to more people to bring them to the site.  There must still be a ton of people out there with Overpower cards and it is still a really fun game.  Not to mention all the great art and the now nostalgic appearances of some characters.  I was just playing with some Batman/Superman starters with my mom today and she saw the picture of Superman on the box and she was like "Why does Superman have long hair?" to which I responded, "Because it was the 90's."

An Overpower video all of a sudden on Youtube? Interesting.

A Question to all the oldschool heads: How would you map the popularity of Overpower over the course of the years you've known it? It's obviously down to a cult following, but would you say it's on the rise or decline in recent years?

Thanks for telling us about the video. It was really well made and so nice to see some publicity given to Overpower. Makes me want to play it even more!

Maybe some of us could start recording our matches and putting them on youtube.  It would spread the word about Overpower but also give us a chance to see what each other are doing during a game.

Though I played just about from the start I can't really speak on this because I was only playing with two other people. (brother & a friend)  I never saw any tournaments or things like that so I all I knew was that we really enjoyed it. Frankly, this site is the first time I've been exposed to others that play(ed) overpower. If the internet was what it is today I probably would have had a wider circle exposure.  :-\

I would love to see that.

We're going to set up a live stream too if we get an Internet connection, no promises though. But there will be video of a few matches during the tournament.

A live stream of the finals would be cool to see. I would love to see how the Canadian faction gets things done. Oooh, and the drama with the Batman:Avenger on the line.... please try and find a internet connection.

I'm betting on HotRod or ZippaHead to take it home, any takers?

Haha!  I dunno man, if my dad wasn't playing with his new Beyonder deck I would agree.  If that deck has a weakness I'm not sure what it is yet, and any deck I make to counter it will probably lose to everything else unfortunately.

I'll see what I can muster up!

@Hot Rod: Just don't switch battlesites on the 29th and you'll do fine. :P

Indeed!  Haha.

I don't think I'll be using a deck that radical and untested again for a tournament though.  I made a sweet Falls Edge with BBH's rule set, but I think I'll give that deck to my brother to pilot because it's fairly straight forward.

I'm really excited for this tournament, because this rule set will allow a lot more creativity due to expanding the "tournament worthy" card pool.

Fall's Edge! Nice. There's a whole thread about making it playworthy... I can't wait to see what you've done with it.

I'm hoping Jack can set something up. Things have hit a snag, as I have been forced to seek out a new venue.

Hot Rod's a worthy player, and Zippa's been practicing... but don't count out Zippa's brother or Hot Rod's Dad (Pass the Gestalt). Of course there's Jack and his crew. I've played them all and wouldn't underestimate them either.

It will be good. Perhaps a betting pool! What say you? We'll create a betting pool, and I'll send a little gift to the person who guesses the correct winner?

Anyone interested in that? If Jack can get the live stream going, it might make it even more interesting.

Yeah, Fall's Edge is a solid tier 1.5 deck with the added defense.

A betting pool would be awesome.  Maybe we could do something like Team Liquid's Liquibet?

Closer to the day I'll make a list of our confirmed participants, and let the board members guess the outcome.

I'll send a little prize (TBD) to the person who gets it right.

Anyone interested in that?
