i'm going to guess peter david
i know he had celebrated runs on aquaman, hulk and xfactor. i think he wrote some spidey around the symbiote time, but i'm not sure
EDIT: i just wiki'd him, and it says he wrote 'The Death of Jean DeWolff', which was symbiote spidey, so i'll assume i'm right and post the next team (if i'm wrong, i'll rescind it)

I would go with either all characters in the DC versus Marvel run (1996 Ron Marz / Peter David) and/or all characters in the Amalgam Universe :D Wonder Woman (+Storm)= Amazon; Superboy (+Spider-Man)= Spider-Boy; Hulk (+Solomon Grundy) = Skulk; and Captain America (+Superman)= Super-Soldier.
Let me know if that's what you're going for and I will start the next set.
jesse, that's close enough for me
specifically, they were all the losing characters in the fan-voted marvel vs DC matches(wolverine beat lobo, but he's not in overpower)

Breadmaster - this is a great game concept!
I've also got another one ready - a harder one this time.
I see you guys moved on, but yes Breadmaster was correct Peter David was my theme and Death of Jean DeWolf was exactly why I went with Symbiote Spidey.
BTW not a bad strength deck if you actually play those four together.

I thought I had it, that they were all named "Peter" but I can't find anything with any Robin being any form of Peter (just the Dick, Jason, Tim, Stephanie, and Damian...)
Edit: unless we're talking "peeters" i.e., the thing you pee with, in which case, Dick would be included ;)

cool.
I'll play along, though. I really think this is the better build:
Gambit - Charge Object, Charge Object ... and so on (Charge Object x56)
Angel: Horseman Of Apocalypse
Polaris
Deathbird
Assault On Onslaught missions
I figure this way,
I get to use my favorite character.
I will have 56 duplicates of a single card.
I hit the 7 letter "A"s
I hit the 73
and there's a sub-theme that they were all Horsemen of Apocalypse!
this next one might be a bit too weird, but we'll see
wolverine
captain america
punisher
ghost rider
this one has nothing to do with comics continuity
Characters who had two solo-books publishing simulataneouly in the 90s?
Wolvie = name + Marvel Comics Presents
Cap = name + Sentinel of Liberty
Punisher = name + War Journal
Ghost Rider = name + Spirits of Vengeance
that's not what i was going for, but it's too good to not accept!
i had 2 themes in mind
they've all starred in multiple films, or they're all popular marvel characters NOT created by stan lee (popular, as evidenced by starring in multiple films ;))
you're up next, dude
Spider-man
Black Cat
Namor
Hawkeye
They were all thought to be criminals at one time?
that's a valid answer, but i'm guessing it's the characters from spider-man the arcade
dang it...now i'm going to have to go build that team!
new one
aquaman
wolverine: AoA
nick fury
forge
Their all missing a body part.

Batman
Cable
Captain America
superman
i'll guess they were all presumed dead at one point
Breadmaster is correct with Spider-man the arcade game.
thing
mandarin
flash
green lantern
I'm going to say magic rings, the Thing qualifies due to a 1970s Hanna Barbara cartoon and Flash used to keep his costume in his ring.

I made him 8S/7F. Actually I gave him an anti negate special, like Zealot's special.
Yeah I think based on the DC3 artwork we can assume Lobo would have been an 8S based on that character listing (and I would assume Mordu the 8E, Deathstroke the 8F and possibly Spectre as the 8I).
So any guesses on the Luthor-Parasite-Joker-Ra's team?
I will give a hint the connection is comic-related but not continuity related.

I really want to say that they all have a connection with the lazarus pits but I just cannot remember anything for Lex. I know Ra's used them (duh), Joker used it and it made him sane, Parasite was in a group that had its hideout in the caves.....but Lex? This is mindbending.....
comics related, but not continutity related
hmmm...that suggests creators, colour schemes...what else?...dates maybe?
i'm drawing a complete blank on this baby!
EDIT:
as i was thinking about the colour comment...could the link be 'green'
lex: kryptonite and his battlesuit
ra's: his outfit/cloak
parasite: there was a green one (this one is kind of weak)
joker: hair/shirt
The answer revealed:
Luthor-Parasite-Joker-Ra's A Ghul
They have all fought Spider-man. The first two in the Spider-man/Superman one-shots in the 1970s and the second two in the two Spider-man/Batman one-shots in the 1990s. I believe they are the only four DC villains to ever meet Spidey since it was Reilly in the spider-suit for the DC marvel limited series.
So if thats the theme....whats the next set ;)
that's a tricky one...never would have got that

and though "family" is the obvious connection, there is something else I'm shooting for here.

lol Yes, other then high energy.
guess we'll need a hint

House of M?
ah, someone else will have to bring this baby home then
my continuity knowledge of the last 15 years is spotty at best
Ncann got it. They were the ruling house in the House of M storyline (though Scarlet Witch was without her powers during the duration of the story arc. She was simply Magneto's homosapien daughter, while Polaris and Quicksilver were both homosuperior siblings.)

CORRECT!!
Quote* KINETIC DETONATION (EJ) <IQ> {U}
Acts as a level 2 Energy attack. If successful, acts as a level 8
Fighting Power card.
* KINETIC ABSORPTION (LO) <XM> {C}
Avoid 1 attack made with a Power card. Maverick may draw 1 card from
the top of the Draw Pile. Discard duplicates.
* KINETIC ABSORPTION (AH) <BS> {U}
No Fighting Power cards may be played against Parasite for remainder of
battle.
* KINETIC ABSORPTION (CN) <PS> {U}
No Strength cards may be played against Strong Guy for remainder of
battle.
i guess i'll give the answer to this one
robin

they were all (co)created by marv wolfman. for robin, it was tim drake, and for nightwing, the nightwing persona
That one was rough. lol

I concur. I have read a ton of robin, nightwing and a lot of black cat and I spent a long time trying to think up this one! I always tend to flow back towards the authors as opposed to who created them. tough challenge - but good...

they're they only humans with a 5 strength! although, i didn't count the Image characters, because I have no idea who those people are, nor do I care about them in the slightest (even to the point that I couldn't be bothered to go to wiki)
(and by "human" I mean non-enhanced, non-mutant, etc)
that is SWEET!
i'm always confused on falcon...i'm assuming he's not a mutant now? (not that the 5 strength/human ever crossed my mind anyways)
nic, you come up with some dastardly ones, i'll tell you what!

on the nose, dem!
So, that's what, 2 teams I need to come up with? lol I'll think hard on this.
here's one i think might be a bit trickier
bishop (3stat)
carnage (3stat)
hobgoblin (3stat)
rhino (3stat)
i specifically used 3stat, because this theme has to do with the original 39 characters.
the other characters that belong to this group: apocalypse/cable (and omega red maybe, depending on how much of a stickler you are)

Seriously tough...
2 hints for the price of one!
1) this theme is non-continuity related
2) it might be helpful to look at what the other 32/33 (again omega red is in a grey area) characters have in common
the answer is: they are the characters from the original 39 who have not appeared in a major motion picture

[Bishop] [Phoenix] [Cable]
[Morph3]
BONUS!
Looking at it, seems like X-World is a GREAT Battlesite for this team, which ALSO fits the theme ;D

Right-O! I was initially going (specifically) with alternate
futures, but when I realized I needed a 10-point Reservist, I figured Morph would just, well, morph the theme a little! Then X-World matches the alternate theme ;D
You could even go so far as to declare them Alternate X-realities (since they are all X-men related story arcs.)

Since the official errata on that card, I believe it was officially ruled a worthless card :P
which errata is that?
i read that the marvel vs wildstorm characters can't be used as activators, since the cards are square (i'm assuming)
that makes the wolverine card even more useless, and hurts blue area of the moon, since the chromium is crystals only card

I know next to nothing about Overpower tournament rules, but I've been playing Magic for over 13 years.
Under Magic tournament rules, if a card becomes marked or is considered to be marked a judge may issue a proxy in its place for use during the tournament. I'd assume a player could easily notify the head judge at the beginning and show them the appropriate number of Crystal cards and either ask the judge to create proxies or the player could just bring their own and have them approved. To me, that would make the most sense.
The errata is that it's a variant Wolverine card, as opposed to a clone character. Otherwise, you could use GoldenAge Wolvie and Wolverine together on a team, just like using Beast/Dark Beast or CaptAmerica/Superpatriot.
You can't use Marvel vs Wildstorm cards in the current form because they can't be shuffled into a deck. They were planning on re-releasing Crystal, Black King and Wolverine Team-X in Marvels.

I am trying to make sense out of this one, but I don't know a lot of comic history.
Spider-man has combined with both Carnage and the Silver Surfer. Silver Surfer has combined with Carnage. Scorpion has combined with Venom and posed as Spider-man.
At one time they've all had a symbiote costume? (related to Venom?)
I still like the They start with S answer except for Carnage which is a half S. That is logical.

Bishop
Cable
Deathbird
Jubilee
I guess you were right! lol
I seem to remember that Bishop and Deathbird were together briefly, possibly during the Messiah Complex, but I don't know of any role for Jubilee in that... :-\
Loved Messiah Complex... but don't recall Deathbird making an appearance... I might be wrong though.

Yeah, they've probably all been on x-teams, but I'm thinking a specific "x" team... and that is my next clue.

"Red-eye Flight" ;D
here's a new one-a little more straight forward
quicksilver
mercury
iron man
booster gold
They all have metal based names!?!?!?
elementary, my dear watson
how about this?
Booster Gold
Green Lantern
White Queen
Jean Grey
colored?
new one:
catwoman: whiplash
dracula
deathlok
batman
this one may be vague, so here's a couple hints to start
1) non continuity
2) what's in a name?
Quote from: BasiliskFang on December 11, 2012, 06:57:06 PM

That's a part of it. Think of what those colors are...

'what a horrible night to have a curse'
Dudes, I love CASTLEVANIA. I was on Harmony of Despair for a couple months like it was World of Warcraft. Couldn't stop playing it. I wanna see some Simon Belmont customs. Cool team!!!

I still need to buy HoD. I've played all of the DS Castlevania's to death.
Harmony of Despair is way awesome, except for farming for gear. I really think they should've up the percentage of rare drops or have them auto drop after so many plays or something. I still don't have all of Simon's Retro gear. But the game is awesome. Check it out.
Storm hates being in boxes, Psycho man has a box, a chimney is a box... but that's as far as I can get. And I don't think I'm even close. :P
Wait... something to do with Fear?

why was Santa so upset when he got stuck in the chimney?
because he has
claustrophobia! buh-dum-chshsh!
yes, fear.
Storm - famously claustrophobic - has the card Emotional Outburst (which is usually her reaction to her fear)
PsychoMan - has the card Fear
Venom - has the card Panic Attack (which isn't
exactly fear, but it has similar side-effects)
Daredevil - has the card Man Without Fear
:D
Sweet! I got another one!!! 2 points! 8)
I need to ponder a team though...
daily double!
joker
catwoman
riddler
penguin
hint: all together now!
joker
two-face
poison ivy
penguin
hint 1: same as above
hint 2: killer croc?
guess another hint is required
this one applies to both: characters in other media
batman movies.
you're getting warmer, but the theme is tighter than that
the 'all together now' hint is to be taken quite literally
I can't wait to see this one:)
1: batman the movie
2: batman 1-4, 1 villain each.
nailed number 1!
number 2, not so much. it doesn't satisfy the 'croc?' hint
another hint for that one
once again, google is your friend here
Batman tas?
the animated series is zeroing in! now just one more step for the theme
I have NO CLUE!!! :'(
Almost Got 'Im! One of my favorite episodes.
Is it that one where they're all playing poker and have batman campfire stories, then it turns out that croc was really batman?
nailed it!
and yep, that's the episode, BF.

Goblyn Queen is Cable's mom?! I thought she was from another dimension... but I guess Cable is from another timeline, so it's alright.:)
it gets a little tricky
after jean 'died' at the end of the dark phoenix saga, a new character called madelyne pryor showed up. she reminded cyclops of jean, and they eventually got married and had a son (young cable). years later it was revealed that pryor was a clone of jean created by sinster, and she became goblyn queen
i'm not sure if the overpower goblyn queen is the one above or the one from x-world (never read that series), but the character card and specials all look like her, and she has one called 'inferno', which was an event from 616
The OP Goblyn Queen is the one from the X-World story arc, the same with Iceman: The Ice-Man, Beast: The Brute, Angel: The Fallen, and Storm: Bloodstorm. Based on what I recall of the X-World arc, it is a parallel timeline where certain events happened differently, such as Storm's run-in with Dracula ended in Storm becoming a vampire herself, and the experiment that turned Hank McCoy into a blue fur-ball in the normal continuity, transformed him into the Brute in the X-World continuity, which is the green, gilled, cloven-hooved, significantly less intelligent Beast. Prior to his transformation, he attempted to help Bobby Drake with his mutation, and wound up making things worse for Iceman, forcing him to wear a containment type suit, so-as not to make physical contact with others, which would freeze them instantly. This parallel's Goblyn Queen is also Madeline Pryor, but in this universe she is in love with and married to Havok, not Cyclops. They have a child together, Scotty, named after Havok's brother... I forget what happened to him in this alternate universe... I also forget what the deal with Angel was, I just remember that he had large, leathery bat wings and fangs... I have the full collection of all the books, but they were released back in '97-'98. I have to re-read them.

you're on the right track.
by "compound," I mean there are 2 factors working at once. like, the "first theme" would get you to the list you compiled already (as well as a couple others). the "second theme" would get you directly to the four I mentioned.
you could also consider it a cross reference ;)

it's rare that you get a second chance at a first impression...
Wolverine, Cyclops, and Colossus were all bad guys for awhile. Brood is usually bad but was a good guy in Planet Hulk.
I was also thinking that they have all died, perhaps? A likely story, I know with Marvel, but I think there's more to this team than just death, though that might be part of it.
I also thought how Wolvie became a Feral Beast and Cyclops merged with Apocalypse... I can't relate all 4, but maybe this helps someone else... Brood is really throwing me off. I dunno... :-\ ???

alright, I don't know what kind of clues I can give that won't simply give it away, so here's your answer!
Brood, Cyclops, Wolverine, and Colossus (as well as ProfessorX, Storm, Shadowcat, and Nightcrawler [I think that's all]) were in the first appearance of The Brood (back in '82). Of them, only Cyke, Brood, Wolvie, and Colossus were in the first appearance of the Brood
in Overpower (including the Events, which, admittedly, was a bit of a tangent :P)
I was looking again, though, and I think Professor should've been there instead of Colossus... wasn't he the Promo Event for Infestation? and I think those came out right before the actual Events, right? oh well ::)
that's a tough one. as the south park creators say, you're 'putting a hat on top of a hat'
...though I've been guilty of that myself here too ;)
I appreciate the challenge... why not up the ante a bit? We're all having fun here.:)

This might be completely crazy, but those characters were in sequential order in the 2011 Heroclix release 'Incredible Hulk': Wolverine #035, Mr. Fixit #036, Ghost Rider #037, Spider-Man #038.
If that's not the answer, it's a very crazy coincidence.
did you see the answer to that theme? it's the 'new' fantastic four

not that, teesaw. it's a much tighter theme than that
is IS comic continuity related though
(which, teesaw, is related to their international origins, as that was a focal point of the direction of the new team when Claremont took over)
Happy to help where I can
it IS more specific than new x-men, but that's on the right track.
what do those 4 have in common that the others (Cyclops/banshee/sunfire/wolverine) don't?
is it the x-men gold team?
I could be cynical and say they were all created specifically as "tokens" of their respective backgrounds
hint: think of when the 'all new, all different x-men' were at their newest
thunderbird, nightcrawler, storm, and colossus all had their first appearance in Giant Size x-Men #1.
bingo was his name-o!
here's one that I think might me trickier
silver surfer
punisher
batman
wolverine

Mutiple guesses:
Are they all characters who had their families murdered which spawned their life as heroes? It might be a bit of a stretch, because I know of so many different iterations of Wolverine's backstory, but the one that comes to mind is 'Old Man Logan' miniseries, where his family is murdered by the children of the Hulk.
I was also thinking they were all heroes who were given their crime-fighting tools by someone who would eventually become their enemy:
- Silver Surfer received the power cosmic from Galactus
- Punisher received his superhuman commitment to justice and vengeance after the murder of his family [kind of a stretch]
- Batman was trained by Ra's al Ghul and the LoS (others could his super powers are (1) a superhuman hatred of evil-doers and (2) money; both of which were given to him upon the murder of his parents)
- Wolverine received his adamantium skeleton from the Weapon X program
those are interesting, but not what I was thinking
couple hints
-the theme is NOT overpower or continuity related
-there are only a few other characters on that fit the theme: superman, spider-man, and captain America (and if you really stretch it out, you could add vision/hawkeye/iron man, and Cyclops/storm/iceman/colossus/nightcrawler)
wow...that second hint probably just adds more confusion!
I got it!
They were all the title characters of games released for the NES
Silver Surfer (1990)
Batman (1990)
The Punisher (1990)
Wolverine (1991)
Also:
The Uncanny X-Men (1989) Featured the X-Men Mentioned in the "stretch" portion
Captain America & The Avengers (1991) featured Vision/Hawkeye/Iron Man as "the Avengers"
Spider-Man: Return of The Sinister Six (1992)
Superman (1987)
nailed it!
I thought I had gone too vague there...good catch. the only nitpick is that they are not just title characters, but the protagonists. otherwise you'd have to include joker in the main category, and the sinister six overpower characters in the 'stretch'. (and perhaps more I missed)
on a side note, uncanny x-men was the first NES game I bought, after saving up my paper route money and buying the NES bundle. it gets torn to shreds by critics (and probably rightly so), but it holds a special place in my heart :'(
Here's an easy one:
- Goblyn Queen
- Scarlet Spider
- Superboy
- X-Babies
Aaaaand, go!
theyre clones?
Too easy? Steve is the winner
perhaps, but too easy is always better than too hard!
heres one
apocalypse
bishop
colossus
nightcrawler
just for fun fact they're 79 4 grid points
Apart from the fact that they all have names which are things that have nothing to do with their powers? i.e.
Apocalypse:
- Name for end of the world
- powers include molecular manipulation, strength, etc. - he in fact doesnt have a destructive power that i can think of...
- more fitting name would be "Omnipotent Man"
Colossus:
- Word for a large structure, tower, or statue
- powers include ability to make skin into metal, and enhanced strength
- more fitting name would be "Metal Man"
Nightcrawler
- Name of a type of earthworm used to catch fish
- powers include teleportation and agility
- more fitting name would be "Teleportation Man"
Bishop
- Name for a religeous leader in certain christian faiths (bishop happens to be the character's last name...)
- powers include energy absorption and projection
- more fitting name would be "energy absorption man"
You may be thinking, couldn't we say that about a lot of heroes? Sure, I suppose you could, but I can't think of another (mainstrem) X-Man who fits the criteria off the top of my head.
- Beast, Iceman, Storm, Angel, Wolverine, Cyclops, Banshee, Shadowcat to name a few.
Probably wrong, but hope you enjoyed
cool but nyet
is it comics-related, overpower-related, or neither?
Can you give us that?
c o m i c s
also contains the letter e
is it, 4 characters, 4 continents?
characters
its happened to them
they have all kicked the bucket?
the whole answer is within reach
oh and the letter N
actually youre right
death and ressurection( which nightcrawler is trying to do in the new amazing x-men) http://marvel.wikia.com/Amazing_X-Men_Vol_2_1 (http://marvel.wikia.com/Amazing_X-Men_Vol_2_1)
here's a new one
crux
hydra
orion
phoenix
They're all constellations
to quote the great tio Salamanca
*ding*
I thought it was neat that out of 88 constellations, 4 are in overpower. there's 2 more if you stretch out scorpius and Hercules (HfH). maybe more if you stretch out more (draco for savage dragon)
Here's one:
Hulk
Ka-Zar
Henry Pym
New Warriors
This one is non-comics and non-overpower....
Actually - strike that, you need to know some comics stuff to get this one, but only for two of the cards, and it's nothing very obscure.
looks like we'll need another hint, tee
The important things to remember are:
1. Name
2. Place of Origin
3. Superhero Alter-ego
4. What they would be called on Earth 1610, perhaps
EDIT: No?...Nothing?
Chuu? Steve?
looking it up, 1610 is the ultimate universe
I know pretty much nothing about that (I did see the 2 ultimate avengers movies...), so if the answer depends on that, i'll have to bow out of this one
But it's REALLY not comics related! This is such a good one!
Wrestling Themed?
Hulk Hogan
Macho Man Randy Savage
Andre the Giant
Ultimate Warrior
???
Yessir! This one sat for a while...I'll be eagerly awaiting Rucker's challenge.
This shouldn't be very difficult:
Black Canary
Captain Mar-vell
Deadpool
Venom
it it the big C?
henry Pym
steel
beast
dark beast
you got it Bread!
People named Henry
Mr. Fantastic
Iron Man
Henry Pym
She Hulk
'en-ry the 8th I am I am
they are all avengers? can't be that simple
No, but it is comics related..
got another hint?
Another closely related team would be:
Captain America
Heroes for Hire
Human Torch
Falcon
...Spiderman could really be on either team...
was thinking maybe civil war sides, but a few are wrong I think. another hint?
Which ones are wrong?
I think they're all anti-reg heroes.
is the answer civil war sides? I never read it, but I knew cap and IM were on opposing sides, so I looked it up
according to this link: https://marvel.com/universe/Civil_War
falcon was on the pro-reg side. is the site wrong?
I'm really not sure.
I remember Cap and Falcon working together during CW - the site talks about them going on a rescue op early on, but doesnt talk about falcon any further in the story. maybe he defected?
I'm really not sure.
new one
dr strange
nick fury
human torch
adam warlock
strange tales
yes sir, that is it exactly!
new one
dr doom
spider-man
doomsday
superboy
2 points over sum deck though :(
you know, I just realized that technically, it's scarlet spider, and not spider-man in this theme
I guess that can be the first hint
i'll add a new team, that has the exact same theme as another hint
flash
ghost rider
batman
wolverine
Quotedr doom
spider-man
doomsday
superboy
Amalgam: Dr. Doomsday and Spider-Boy
Quoteflash
ghost rider
batman
wolverine
Amalgam: Speed Demon and Dark Claw
Here's one for you:
Brainiac (20)
Lex Luthor (18)
Riddler (18)
?
Allies
Cheetah (unplayable at this time)
Gorilla Grodd
Scarecrow
bang on with the amalgam characters
would a black manta homemade with 8 fighting satisfy your theme?
Yeah or Rouges (Captain Cold only) from the not published DC3. But they probably don't have Fighting 8.
here's a new one
callisto
martian manhunter
mercury
sunfire
it's been a while, but as I pointed out in the other topic, when I was going through the binders, a new one came to me
adam warlock
mysterio
professor x
wolverine: age of apocalypse
hint: this theme is 100% overpower based, and I believe these are the only 4 characters who fit the theme
Their Energy, Fighting and Strength all stayed the same from their 3 Grid hero card...that was easy because you had to mention AOA...
exactly! they also come in right at 76 points. I guess one could count galactus as well...
here's a hint for the older one
callisto
martian manhunter
mercury
sunfire
hint: what's in a name?
moons, planets and stars..
yep, that's it!
specifically, they all represent celestial bodies in our solar system
ya, i was thinking celestial bodies but i wasn't sure.
this one is a little late, but still kinda current. also have to think outside the box
namor
hawkeye
captain America
superpatriot
Are these all characters that have had itty-bitty wings on their costume at one point? Namor's Feet, Cap/SP's helmets...not sure about Hawkeye, but maybe....
little wings, classic! maybe thor could be the 4th?
anyway, here's a couple hints
1) think, top 2 vs bottom 2
2) roman numerals
Got it...
Sea-Hawk(eye) and Patriots
bingo!
Here goes:
Batman: Avenger
Beast: The Brute
Iron Man (3-Stat)
Storm: Neutralized
hmm... they all got a fighting boost from their 4 stat characters (though 3 stat iron man came out first)
Not quite, but it is Overpower-related.
I don't want to give a hint that ends up doing more harm than good, but I can tell you that it has nothing to do with the specific fact that they're all variants/non-standard-versions (in the case of iron man) of cards.
Hulk: Mr. Fix-It would also work on this team...again, I'm not sure if this makes it more confusing or less confusing...
Holy crap that's a tough one teesaw. It must have something to do with their grids since you mentioned the 3-stat Iron Man, but I'm stumped. While I mull it over, how about this one:
- Doc Samson
- Magneto
- Shadowcat
- Thing
Another one:
- Blob
- Black Cat
- Dracula
- Psycho-Man

- Dracula
- Psycho-Man
Classic Horror Films. Dracula (1931), The Blob (1958), The Black Cat (1934) and Psycho[-Man] (1960).
...interesting to me as an aside, another (of the countless many...) Dracula and the film Black Cat Mansion also came out in 1958, if there was intended to be a sub-theme of films that came out in the same years or very close to one another.
(Also: Dr. Cyclops (1940), Spiderwoman (1944), The Brainiac (1961), Venom (1971), The Hand (1981), The Thing (1982), Hobgoblins (1988), and countless others...)I guess I'll go next:
- Batman: Avenger
- Beast: The Brute
- Iron Man (3-Stat)
- Storm: Neutralized
Hints:
- Overpower Related
- Also could include: Hulk: Mr. Fix-It
Ya, you got both of those. But damn yours is tough.

They are all models of Ford cars?
that's it exactly!
out of curiosity brad, did you know that, or did you have to google it?
Woohoo! Finally got one!
I knew all of them except the Ford Orion. I did google that one. Apparently it's a European car? It looks terrible. I'd rather shit in my hands and clap than ride in that thing.
heh
I also had to google it when making the list. I was going for cars, starting with the rogue, then realized there were a few ford models so I searched to complete the more specific quartet
