Title: Book of the Darkhold
Post by: rucker73 on October 13, 2012, 12:19:28 PM
This may be a stupid question, and I know I used to know this...  but can this be played on a 3 stat character to add an intellect rating, or does it have to be played on a 4 stat character?

3-stat characters wouldn't technically have an Intellect of 5 or less, so they can't benefit from the Artifact.

Not zero, they don't even have a stat place holder. If there exist a character with intellect of 0, then yes go ahead a play it as 5 or less.

3stat intellect isn't equal to 5

it isn't greater than 5

...all that's left is less than 5! ;)

QuoteQuestion: Can I use the "Book of the Darkhold" artifact on a NON-IQ Character (3-stat character) to give that character an IQ stat of 7? (1998-02-07)

Answer: No. No intellect icon means no Intellect, period.

It also applies to special card stat boosters, say Hydra's. They simply don't have one.
