OMG! I hadnt seen most of those cards. They are EPIC!!! I need that set yesterday! Will I be getting a PM when its time to order my sets?

Alright everyone, the good news and bad news -

The Good:

I've processed everyone's orders and laid them out. I have shipping quotes, and if you haven't gotten them yet, I'll get to you eventually. I'm doing this one at a time and starting with our pre-orders so bear with me.

It's the basic stuff we need all of you to understand before committing. Disclaimers etc. We are not affiliated with Marvel and this is a personal project that we are making available to our little online Overpower community. We're strictly not-for-profit on this, and everything is being provided at cost. Anyway, I'll stop rambling all the info is on the site.

Attached is a photo of my coffee table, which is currently home to all of the sorted orders.   


The Bad news:

We're pretty much out. A few new people have come out of the blue to request sets, and that's it, that's all. This is a one-time deal, so we're not printing any more. I have everyone's name on my list, and you'll be contacted soon if we haven't been in touch already.

Thanks for your support on this one everyone. It's awesome to have actual cards for the Marvels, and I hope everyone enjoys their set. Moreover, I hope to see some of you in person with our cards at upcoming meetups in Toronto and the US. We have a tentative Buffalo Tourney coming up, Hosted by the Orange King, and there's talk of a possible event somewhere central to everyone here in the East - I've suggested Pittsburgh myself. If anyone is based in the Pitt, let us know of any good spots where we can set up an event!

I am from Pittsburgh, though live in NC now.

As far as hosting in the Burgh, I guess you'd be looking for a comic shop? I wasn't a big frequenter of any shop. I have no personal connections. I do know of some places though.

www.eides.com/ is a big comic book shop downtown.

I wonder if hosting a restaurant/bar would be another option. Getting a private room and some food/drink. I guess that would incur more cost, but it also has fun potential.

It feels like the week before Christmas (or any celebration where gifts are exchanged.)  Lots of excitement!!!  I have so many ideas for decks especially for doubles Overpower (2v2) since that is the format of choice my friends and I play.

I hope that's my set with the mega powers on it.

So lucky! Nice to see a first review is in. Now I'm even more anxious for my set to arrive.
