I'm away from my cards right now, so just theoretically: if I had a special under my battle site "soandso may use x's specials for remainder if game". If x is on my team, does that mean y can play x's special cards?

X and y are on my team. Soandso is on my battle site.

I think I get what you're asking, and I had the same thought here: HU from a Battlesite, but it didn't seem to garner much talk.

It would be good if someone had some good specials to share.

I was a little confused by the Daily Bugle team.  It centered around the team itself, not using the card from a battlesite.

If you can't include specials in your deck without having that character on the team, it would be really hard to utilize this type of special from a battlesite.

If you had Scarlet Spider on your team, you could use a battlesite that has Spidey on it and play Clonal Confusion to make Scarlet Spider's teammate play Scarlet Savior and Sticky Fingers.  That could be alright, but it's still limited and doesn't seem worth the trouble.  The Jean Grey specials you could allow the teammate to use with Goblyn Queen aren't good enough to  pass on really.  Most cards like that don't seem worth the trouble, unless they let you play ALL of said characters specials, say Longshot Love... but Longshot doesn't have many good specials, and Dazzler isn't on a battlesite without Longshot, so that wouldn't work.  Goblin Legacy wouldn't work because if Green Goblin is on your battlesite, then he ISN'T on your team, meaning you don't have Gauntlet Blasters or Pumpkin Bombs in your deck.  I won't say there isn't a cool combo somewhere, but I'm conceding that I'm not cool enough to invent it.  I'm interested to see if anyone comes up with anything though.

Got a Daily Bugle team like that using the Vault as the battlesite.  ;)

Sorry... the Jean Grey specials are awesome.  I had the wrong specials in mind, until I saw this battlesite.  Forgive me.  Avoids and "hold" cards are good.

longshot has 2 negates, 1 avoid and an almost never blocked 3.

thetrooper27

2 negates?  ???

I like the 3 and the avoid, the 5E search for aspect card, and Purity of Thought is really nice (often my battlesite OPD), but I still find him to be a little bit weak.  Great inherent ability though... but Dazzler isn't featured on a battlesite without him so Longshot Love gets no love from a battlesite. :'(

wait my bad i was thinking about when you use him from a battlesite, you can have his personal negate and mojo or babies' wide negate.

thetrooper27

Oh yeah, I gotcha there.  Until I began consulting you guys, I pretty much by default chose Mojoworld as my battlesite because of the negates and avoids.  Sometimes I would choose sites that had Scarlet Witch, but I mainly only used defensive cards, and BIG OPD's.  Now there are several battlesites I like for different reasons, and since we don't use DOW much, I'm not afraid to play 12 activators.

were you using more than 1 OPD from a site at the time?

thetrooper27

No, only one.  Usually Purity of Thought for Mojoworld.  I really like that card.
