the goal is to manipulate venture... to win with yours, or destroy opponents missions for victory.

i am trying to find the last member of the team... i could switch Storm to Neutralized to add 3 more points... so anyone from 16-19 sum could help... X-Babies/Shadowking/Kazar/Hydra?

i added this site because this has potential to shutdown opponents venture bigtime with no drawback to me.

alright i trimmed her down to 8. Spider-woman seems like a decent reserve choice... who else hmmm

i think you're going to have to make a choice betwee storm and gambit.  Dr. Strange 3 grid would be a good reserve because he would cover the 8E.  Having Storm and Gambit, either 3 grid or 4 grid and Doc Strange put you over by 1. Having two CF specials characters on the team should be more than enough.

yeah i would prefer Gambit definitely. hmm Strange would be great, but i think getting a 9 avoid for teammate is better than a 6 avoid.

Spider-Woman backs up my 6 Strength activation for my artifact card from Jean Grey. its a toss up... backup 8 with weaker special, or backup artifact with stronger special.

so Jean Grey/Gambit in front with Spider-Woman in reserve. whom do i take up front now? if i had points i would take Captain Mar-vell. hmmm... Dr.Strange/Professor X/X-Man/The Ray for possible 8's with point cost. probably leaning to X-Man for his specials.

too bad there wasn't a character in game yet that has The Morlocks 6-3-8-2 (19) but switched up for energy like 8-3-6-2 for 19 points. that would have been perfect. Onslaught costs too much 8-2-6-7 (23)

3 stat Thor could pinch with his AY special... too much work and cards to make it worth it, im already investing cards into my specials.

i guess i could also switch up my artifact since its not exactly necessary but a nice addition. maybe find more protection frontline teammate to protect jean grey to use it.

and yeah actually getting my hands on marvels cards is harder as well so =[

check out stark enterprises as a battlesite

you can keep the CQ (cap), and use war machine's marvels card.  it's a better (imo) version of the hydra special, and it's NON-OPD!

it also has an LO, and a negate

you'd have to switch spider-woman out of reserve, but it might be worth a look

hmm great idea. maybe ill do a small change.

if War Machines special is so dope, why not have him in the deck? :) he backs up Jean's 6 strength and has great venture related specials and support.

that is a great alternative battlesite.. maybe ill just recalibrate one more time.

so a 17 4 stat for the last reserve spot preferably with 8 Energy ? X-Man?

the only problem is then you have to use war machine ;).  his other specials aren't too good

storm has the same marvels card as WM too (and much better specials to go with it!).  another funky venture character is blue beetle.  he brings:

+2 venture/battle (inherent)
Acts as a level 6 Intellect attack.  If successful, opponent -4 to Venture Total. (HO)
Opponent must discard all placed Universe cards, and is -3 to Venture total. (IB)

all non-opd cards.  he also backs up gamibt's fighting

if you put silver sable 3-stat in reserve (6f and tm avoid), and are willing to axe gambit, the team slides in right at 72 points

you'll have to mix up your power cards a bit, but i'm not sure if it's still true to your original vision.  deck building is fun!

and beetle and storm have that extra intellect defense

great thanks for the ideas suggestions... i think im gonna stick with my lineup of Storm/Jean/Gambit with Spider-woman reserve. covers my holes how i want. i never knew Storm had that special War Machine has... too ill :)
