Can I have eradicator play his MF on Darkseid and then play his specials or the H/V code prevent that? 

Who plays with the codes?

well i don't think it would work because if following codes they couldn't be in the same deck in the first place.

but playing house rules i would say yes.

the codes say Heroes can't play villain cards and visa versa.  Other threads have discussed what constitutes duplicate ally cards (can they keep a villain AND hero coded one even if their to "to play" types are same: no) suggesting they CAN be played on same team with loss of some synergy but not illegal.
