Let's say Thing played the BB after a doubleshot hit. Who is considered "the opponent who just hit him"? The character who played the DS or the one who contributed with the Power card?

What happens if the Thing plays the BB after being hit by an Aspect card?

What if Thing plays the BB after being hit by a cup of soda spilled on the character card?

Palatinus

The character actually playing the Doubleshot is always the attacker.  The interesting thing is that the way that The Thing's special is worded, it applies to "the opponent" so technically that should mean the actual player.  Assuming that the intent of the card was to apply to the character that attacked him, it still seems unclear about the Doubleshot.  If the contributing character adds a characteristic to the attack that is their participation, it should trigger the effect of the BB.

Because the BB special is triggered relative to the attacker, an Aspect would either cause the special to have no effect or cause it to trigger only from Aspect cards.

If The Thing attacks or defends against the soda again that battle, he should be +2.
