Hey Guys,

I was looking at Mojo World and it looks like quite a bit of fun for a homebase.  Can anyone suggest any deck building strats?  I like the idea of giving some focus to Basic Universe cards (even though I'm aware of the arguments against them).  I wish Betsy Braddock could use more Basics, though.  It would make her that much more effective.

Thanks.

I like using the line up of X-babies, Mojo, Dazzler, and Psylocke (IQ) in reserve.

The grid is consistent with a backed up 7. The Inherent is good. Dual negates, plus good tricks.

While I like the Aspect, I've found that it's not really worth it unless you're recycling the Basic Universe cards (a la the Recycling house rule). Under official rules it's a waste.

Your battlesite options are a little more open because of the negate power of your team. Krakoa, Morlock Tunnels, and Hell's Kitchen all work well for this team. The usual staple sites are also good - Danger room or Onslaught's Citadel. Outback is obviously not an option because of Dazzler.

X-babies & Mojo have the sickest non-OPD cards!

What is the Recycling house rule?

Thanks guys.  I was thinking of running Longshot in reserve; Dazzler, with the right Special, can use the Specials he can't until he goes north.

I like Betsy Braddock because she makes up for the lacking Intellect stats that the team has, but I'm on the fence about how useful her inherent ability will be.  I'll have to do some play testing to find out.

What is the Recycling house rule?

In our house system (mine and Halcyon's) we recycle Basic Universe, Training, and Doubleshot cards into the Power pack after use, instead of the dead pile.

It makes them much more playable without rendering any other cards redundant. Completely changes the power pack endgame too, should players get there.
