So what about beyonder:  lethal tester is not a opd so Beyonder can play it BUT can beyonder play Ultimate Potential?  I guess this is the old question of does post (beyonder) play it = he can't but does he control / persuade the owner to play it which means Beyonder is NOT playing a opd.  Has this reached a consensus ?

i would say that it's the special playing the OPD and not beyonder directly, so it gets played...

just a side question, if you play lethal tester, do you get to call the icon?

I would say yes: Post chooses & sabretooth can protect teammate from fighting icon (wink, wink) but what about JWs: can opponent make follow up PC attack?  Interesting card.
