No Love for EE?

Is this code overlooked, or am I missing something?  According to the rules, EE can be used when anyone is attacked.

These cards get plenty of love! EE specials are usable for the entire team. Always have been. That makes them extremely valuable.

Yes, same rule, only it applies to a different card type.

And before anyone asks, yes, it CAN be used to stop the Power Leech. Any special that targets a character.

It cannot be used to avoid or remove cards the affect the 'opponent' however. So, 'target may not attack for remainder of battle' can be avoided with Inhuman's EE, but DoW, or 'opponent must discard 1 placed card' cannot be stopped with Royal Family.

This card is what really drove X-Man to be a top-tier character. He's cheap, a max-8, AND has a team-defense Special.
