If I follow a FE Special with other Special that allows additional attacks, those additional attacks are sacrificed.

But what happens if a FE is followed by an OF Special that is defended by the opponent, resulting in a draw that can be used to attack? Is it considered an additional attack that should be sacrificed?

that's interesting...at the very worst, if the drawn card is an attack, it can still stay in your hand

those OF cards still confuse me...

The OF cards simply state that if the drawn card is an attack, it can be used by the character who played the OF.  If for somereason you are allowed to draw the card, but not attack, I would think it would go into your hand, where that character still has the right to use it.  However, for the sake of not taking advantage of what could be a nasty situation, you would have to reveal the drawn card so your opponent: A. knows that you drew an attack and B. Knows that this card is useable by the player of the OF for the remainder of the battle.

My 2 cents.

activators...are they attacks if they can be exchanged for an attack?

Yea.

As far as the original question, that's pretty tricky. Since the OF specials allow you to use specials of KO'd teammates, I'm guessing that the meta-rule would have made you discard the drawn/revealed card in all situations where you were not able to make the immediate followup followup attack (due to an FE, BJ, event that seals off certain icons from attacking, etc.).

I would say that the drawn card from the OF is an extension of the OF card. It doesn't count as an additional attack. But, if the drawn card happens to have additional attack, it would be forfeited.

It would be akin to satisfying the If successful clause of, say, a CZ card.

I sort of agree here. IMO, the OF card is like starting a new turn. If the drawn card is a Teamwork card and you have the necessary follow-up power cards, you're allowed to play it - despite the other rules regarding a Universe card following a Special (and how that's not normally ok). It also breaks the normal rules of playable Special cards, since the special drawn doesn't have to be usable by the owner of the OF.

The easiest way for me to play the OF cards, are to say that if the the drawn card is an attack, it's just like starting a new turn.
