Could beyonder start a chain with mavericks NZ to a DG, etc?

The text says..."usable by maverick and in hand."  I would take that to include A-next or death from above.  True ?  And that would allow beyonder teammate to throw a opd.  Did I overlook a meta-rule?

I consulted with Jack on this - normally Any Heroes have to be played on their own, but that seems to only apply with follow ups - this is slightly different. I'm going to agree with Jack and say an Any Hero would be okay.

Aspect not so much - aspects are played by/from the Homebase and therefore not technically usable by Maverick.
