Updating an old deck

I built this around the time of Classic, I think before the "dead is dead" rule came into place.  I had some rather nice success with it, but given the current ruleset I'm not sure it'd hold up well.  So I'm looking to update it, if necessary.

The general strategy was to keep Onslaught alive as long as possible by controlling KO order.  Attacks would be siphoned to Leader, then X-Babies acted as a sponge with Cannon Fodder when they were brought out of reserve.  I've been considering replacing X-Babies with 3-stat Morph (pretty sure the math works, can't remember for sure) and using Substitute Death, or inserting a couple of the "raise X to 7" Artifacts to use on X-Babies since I never had any of those when I used this deck.  A Battlesite might help as well as I never used one with this deck.

A fun deck to play if everything worked right, and a deck I'm rather sentimental about since it was the first one I ever put any thought into the strategy of.  It also gave me the chance to show off my recently acquired Symbiotic Costume that I had pulled from a pack, my favorite card ever at the time (promo Onslaught hero), and make a (what I considered) boring and somewhat useless hero (Leader) really useful.

this is a great line-up for it's originality! to your point, I don't think I've ever faced Leader in a deck  :o Also, you actually have quite a bit of room with Onslaught, Spider-Man SC (sweet pull, btw), and Leader. You're at 59 with that, leaving you with 17 points for your 4th (or 13 as a 3-stat). Should leave you lots of options, actually.

Anyway, despite Dead Is Dead, I think there's a lot of potential to keep players alive longer. To your point about Battlesites, if you're looking to keep people alive longer, you could consider a few of these specials from a Battlesite

CA - <Character> may switch entire permanent record with any front line teammate
CG - For remainder of game, <Character> may not be Spectrum KO'd.
CT - For remainder of game, all attacks made on <Character> are now made on <Character>
EK - For remainder of game, <Character> may not be Cumulative KO'd.

They're all pretty handy cards. Also, just FYI, the CA and CG cards both appear on the Fall's Edge Compound. That Battlesite has some cool other stuff too. Worth a look, anyway.

Thanks for the tip about Fall's Edge.  I think the CG/EK avenue is worth pursuing, and I'm debating which to go with.  I'm currently leaning towards the EK, which would mean Avenger's Mansion Wakanda as the Battlesite.  Avenger's Mansion seems a bit more useful, so I'm thinking I'll end up going with that for now unless I end being convinced otherwise.
