Okay since I have most of my cards sorted, I'm building decks to play with my friends that no longer have a collection.  I revised my Thud deck, you guys helped me with my buddy's Fighting deck featuring Angel, Grifter, Maverick and Spidey.  So I wanna build another deck to play.  I want to use:  Maggot.

Here's the team I came up with.  Maggot, Spider-Girl, Spawn (amazing cards), and I'm looking at Flash in reserve.

Maggot has some good offense.  I left out Slugfest because I didn't want to build another strength deck.  Plus I wanted to see if I could work a deck with a couple max 6 characters.

With all the team avoids, I should be able to protect my guys.  I can play Reap the Whirlwind from reserve, and place Tapping the Speed Force to flash for when he moves up.  I'll post the full build later, but I wanted to ask you guys if this is a viable deck?  Should I go heavy teamworks?  I'm thinking of Wundagore battlesite.  It has lots of good defense cards, but I have defense until I get to the power pack.  What's the most OFFENSIVE battlesite?  Is Wundagore a good choice?

More later...

IMO, one of the best OFF Battlesites is XMansion. it has a good variety of lv.6+ attacks. also, it has a JW, which is great when it can be played by a max-8 character. the only real problem with that site (for your deck) is that it has no negate. with that in mind, Wundagore is pretty good. Also, Danger Room might be good. it has 4 different, non-OPD, lv.6 attacks, plus Gambit's 8ap, and also has a negate and some other good defense. it's another well-balanced site.

Danger Room might be really nice since it has the offense I need.  I'm thinking Blood Chill as my OPD?  If I were to use Wundagore, what should I use as my OPD?  If I use Danger Room, which OPD?  I think Tripwire is awesome... but I'm assuming we're all fans of Level 9 attacks.

x-World?

Modification:

Okay, I decided to use Danger Room.

I chose:
Rogue-Sky Soar, Power Wipe
Iceman-Frozen Prison, Sub-Zero
Gambit-Kinetic Detonation, FullHouse
Bishop-XSE Tactics,Plasma Gun
Beast-Analyze, Acrobatics
Angel-Avenging Angel, Neuro-Toxin

My Deck:
Maggot:
2x TunnelWorms
1x Chow Time
1x Intestinal Fortitude
1x Awesome Aussie

Spawn:
3x Protect Teammate

2x Heavy Weapons

Spider-Girl:
1x Web Action
1x Mayday
3x SpiderMobility
1x Wallwalker
1x Girl Power

Flash:
2x Reap the Whirlwind

12x Activators

Teamworks:
1x 8E, F, I
1x 6F, E, I
1x 6E, F, I

Power Cards:
2x 8E
2x 7E
3x 6F
3x 5F
2x 4F
1x 4M
2x 3I
1x 3M
1x 2I
1x 2M

first off, you might consider swapping in Bishop's AY special. specifically because of that secondary effect, and the fact that you have a max-8 Energy user. In general, most people keep a balance of 1 OFF and 1 DEF card per character for their Battlesite. for myself, my go-to OPD in Danger Room is Gambit's Charm, but I've used Blood Chill, too. also, Beast's EB is worthy, since it's game-lasting and covers the whole team. While you have good defense from Spawn and SpiderGirl, they won't help against attacks like GA, AV, Power Leech, and the like. Also, can you imagine getting Spider-Girl's BJ, and a Gambit & Beast Activator all at once? that's pretty close to a pure Lock Out hand!

those are my Battlesite comments. about the rest of the team, the first thing that jumped out was that you don't have Flash's JA in there... oversight in your listing?

Beasts CW and 2 BJ specials?  Venture High? Win?  If I change to Gambit's BJ, I'll have to adjust Bishop and someone else, because bishop has no offense other than OPD's.  His AY seems like it will only be good in certain situations, and I wanted to go for something that would be useful in any situation.  I'll go with the defensive change, but I need to rework my battlesite in other areas, so give me some tips on that.

Can I stop GA, AV and Power Leech with Beast's CW?

I left out the JA for Flash because I didn't have any power cards he could discard.  I only played 2 level 1 power cards, and I didn't think it was worth it to work it in unless I played 3.  I also wanted to trim the deck down to 56, as others have suggested I do with my previous deck posts.  Should I work in the JA and change the power pack?  Maybe put in a few energy 2's and 1's?  Should I change my teamworks as well?

i think you meant CD
and yes u can
bj is one per deck  :P
and so is plasma gun
so you'll have to choose which one of those to put in
perhaps let bishop be the AG http://overpower.ca/cards/specials/135.png
you could always place a level 2 energy for http://overpower.ca/cards/specials/459.png
maybe replace the 6e tw with a 7e tw
perhaps add a 3rd activator for iceman and rogue
iceman as the AD special http://overpower.ca/cards/specials/636.png
rogue as the AC to switch http://overpower.ca/cards/specials/1146.png
maybe give a spawn 1 of each AR and GJ instead of 2(he's gonna be a big target)
i wonder if u activate an AC then activate an AG if you have the seperate heros for it

damn the danger room has five level 6 specials
those are my suggestions

I ended up trading Bishops Plasma Gun for his AY, I dropped gambit's EJ for his BJ, and traded Iceman's AR for his AD.  But I might rework the power pack still and add Speed Force for Flash.

I also considered dropping a few power cards because i never really wanna go power pack battle, I'll just lose to a 7 or 8 without Spawn, and thought about adding the event that lets me reshuffle.  I could put some allies in there, maybe another special card or two.

If I trade out the 6e teamwork for a 7, only spawn can play it.  If spawn gets ko'd, flash moves up, and he can play the 6e teamwork.  I'll read over this again when i get off work and make adjustments.

Deckbuilding is way fun. 8)

I strongly suggest NOT using the Reshuffle Event if you're also using a Battlesite. You're liable to draw tons of unusable Activators  :-\
