I just wanted to say "hey" and introduce myself.  I'm from Northern California and am a huge Overpower fan.  Of course, by "huge", I am referring to the amount of affection I have for the game, and not necessarily my size... although I am 6'5" 225, so maybe both cases apply.

I played OP in high school, but my cards were in storage for the last 12 years.  I just recently dug them out and am looking forward to blowing the dust off of all of them.

I'm glad I found this forum and am looking forward to spending my free time browsing what's going on in the world of OP and contributing when I can.

Peace out!
Brad

I'm actually from Stockton.  Now that I admit that, anyone who knows about Stockton is wondering why I didn't say "Oh, I'm from South Lodi"

Not much of anyone outside of California would have heard about Stockton, except that it's the largest US city to go bankrupt, has one of the highest murder-per-capita rates in the state, and is consistently on Forbes list of "Top 10 Miserable Cities".

My job and family are all in the surrounding area, so it's a little difficult to just pick up and move far away :-/

That's bleak.  I admire your courage.

Sorry to hear about Stockton's woes. I helped my niece not too long ago with a poster presentation she did about California counties and she was assigned San Joaquin County. So we learned quite a bit about Stockton and the other cities. Quite the picturesque place you guys got up there. Hopefully its finances recover soon.  :-\
