Team gains +2 to all actions for the remainder of battle. The wiki says "It may be played in conjunction with a power card as a defensive move or along with a teammate's attack." Can it be played along with a teammate's defensive action or just a teammate's attack?

Yes, any defensive action as long as the action itself without the +2 cannot block the attack.

so if i have a 6 and a 4 in hand and a teamwork 6 comes at me can i use the profs 4 and his special to defend?
or must i use the 6
i think is the real question here  for the sake of clarification
