Negating OF & CV

1. If an OF is negated, does the secondary clause trigger, or are all aspects of the cards negated?  The card is "not successful", but negates normally NEGATE all text on the card (AA for exmaple; no follow up occurs).

2. Can Longshot's CV be negated defensively?  The stipulations on defending are very clear, but because nothing should be taken at face value in Overpower, I'd like some clarification.

Related to the answer of number 2, can a JW can be negated (e.g., White Queen's Corporate Cutthroat)?
