I'm a little surprised I never revisited this thread. I did sort of settle on my favorite Danger Room deck. I've played with it several times and it seems to do well, all things considered.

Roster:
Gambit - 8a, 8a, 4f, BJ
Beast - 9f, CD, AO, AO, EB*
Rogue - 9f, 6e*, 4a, BD, AC, AG
Archangel - JA

Battlesite: Mojoworld:
Dazzler - AD, BY (OPD)
Longshot - DO, AC, 5e*
Psylocke - 4e, AG,
XBabies - 6s, 7a, AO
Beyonder

Teamwork Cards 6E+si, 7F+si, 6F+si, 6S+fi, 7I+fs
Power Cards 7FSIA, 6FSA, 5SMA, 4SS, 3SS, 2II, 1F
Artifact Cards Adamantium Tentacles
Double Shot 6S/6F + S
Aspect Card A-Next, Holographic Attackers
MISSION/EVENT Cards Annihilation Affair: HEROIC STANDOFF!, SABOTAGE, SPECIAL DELIVERY
* these are cards from The MARVELS set

Feedback is always welcome  :D

call me old fashioned
but i like the idea of the x mansion as the site for this paticular homebase

BigBadHarve

I had two builds that I quite liked -

Gambit
Bishop
Iceman
Angel: The Fallen (Either reserve with his draw 4 if you're using Marvels... or up front with a KO event is a good option if not.)

For a fighting/energy dual. Energy is a common suit, so you're not too up in the air for grid.

Conversely, for a more varied grid (a little riskier, but fun nonetheless.)

Beast
Rogue
Bishop
Gambit

I put Rogue in the back, and use Dark Phoenix Saga. In both cases I run with Any Heroes. It's a essentially an energy/strength dual. But the inherent and an AP 7 offsets the disadvantage slightly.

Both versions use doubleshots really well, if you're into those.

When you did that first build, were you using your house rules about the 2 non-OPD Specials, used as pseudo-Aspects? And were you using a battlesite or AnyHero?

Circumstance such that it is, I'm building this this Danger Room team with my actual cards and it turns out I have Dazzler on another team, so I can't use her BY... so then, I was looking around at other Battlesite options and lo - Xmansion looks the part (having a pair of good Specials to go with Power cards). So now I'm curious, how would you (any of you) build an X-Mansion battlesite for the above Danger Room build?

As I said, I went any-heroes, but it could easily work with many sites. Outback being a good start.

I came up with those builds long before the house rules, but the pseudo-aspects and doubleshot recycling really benefit that team.

I must've missed the AnyHero mention (my bad), but this team certainly would benefit from those particular house rules, wouldn't it!?  :D
