Fist full of danger's follow up

Fairchild's fistfull of danger is one of two JCs that allows a follow up with TEAMMATE'S special.  This question is about follow up:
1. Can an FE cosmic allowance type special be played after fist full allowing TEAMMATES to follow that up?
2. Can it be used to get a chain going for fairchild by playing someone's AA into her supper smarts?  JC to AA to MB?

I think meta 9 would allow both of these:


Meta #9 Specials that allow a follow up can be played after another Special that allows a follow up. If a Special allows for teammates to make follow-up attacks, then any follow-up actions allowed by Specials played as a result of that are all lost. If the Special granting a follow up has been played following a non-Special card (like an Ally card) then the follow up attacks are not lost.

3. Since this a non-opd, could Beyonder use it and then play a KO'd teammate OPD like clobbering time?

No, because of meta #9

If a Special allows for teammates to make follow-up attacks, then any follow-up actions allowed by Specials played as a result of that are all lost.

Yes, because Fairchild is the character playing her teammate's special.

Beyonder CAN use it, but the rest is tricky.  I'm not sure that Beyonder's prohibition against playing OPD is lifted for the mechanics of this card; but then again, if Fairchild could do it, why not Beyonder?  I'm leaning towards Yes, whether Thing is KO'd or not.

There's nothing wrong with playing FE after JC. The rules still follow for those attacks after FE -- no additional attacks from the other teammates.

The special would be played as if it were Fairchild/Grunge playing it. So JC chaining into someone else's AA would grant Fairchild/Grunge the additional attack to play whatever is a legal attack.

As for Beyonder, I would say no. The special is played as if it were Beyonder playing it. But he cannot play OPDs, so that would prevent Beyonder from playing it.

So are the new rules (from toronto tourney) now making branching chain attacks possible?

Yes, they make more sense from the writing on the cards. There are more possibilities to continue making additional attacks provided that you have the cards to do so.

Hypothetically if u had a situation with a deck front line of spawn, invisible woman, and adam warlock, you could play invisible womans 3, each front line make an additional attack follow up by spawns 7str, then adam warlock could play his 3 each front line makes an additional and keep going (whereas you would stop your attacks here with the normal legion rules).

Didnt quite make sense that a card says you can keep attacking, but the rules say, no, stop attacking.
