are these missions made up, or are they adapted from comic arcs i don't recognize.  every other marvel mission is from a fairly well know story.

Palatinus

These are both based on fairly large arcs in the comics.

Infestation is a pretty good one. I like most of the stories that involve the X-men and The Brood. There was an issue from the early 80s that has one of the few instances where I was very impressed with the writing for Wolverine (dont' recall which issue, but I have it, so I can look it up later if anyone is wondering).

Palatinus

I think the version of the brood story done in the X-Men animated series was a pretty good depiction of the events.  Clearly there were large differences in character design, but the main idea was there.

what were the names of the 2 arcs?

i just find it odd that if i search any other mission, i get comic related stuff on google, yet when i search these 2, overpower stuff comes up first.

i don't remember fury, punisher or cap being in any x-men brood stories.

and i'd love to check out what annihiliation affair was based on.  deadpool, doc ock, omega red, cap, hulk...seems great!

I don't remember specifically what they called the arcs.  They were from quite a while ago, obviously.  I know Annihilation Affair was around the time when Bruce Banner was working at Gamma Base before it got blown up or whatever.

Upon further research, it appears I am mistaken! I'm looking and looking, but the only Brood arc I was able to find that involved Capt. America was the Contest Of Champions II, but that was from '99. I'm gonna go look up my older X-men, though, because I do remember Brood crashing to earth...

I thought OverPower themselves stated at the time that Annihilation Affair and Infestation Incident were brand new.  That's how I've always remembered it.
