I am in Lake Ariel, PA which is about 30 minutes east of Scranton, PA and about 2 hours west of New York City. I see posts of other players in the area to play Overpower with!!

So many OP players out in the East Coast, not enough out here in the West.  :'(

I am also in Toronto.  As are Mike and Garion Sutton as you well know Sean.  Marcel Lojet is still in the area somewhere and Jack is a regular visitor.  It seems odd that I have to point out that we have enough people in the Toronto area to have regular tournaments, when we have been doing just that every few months.

New guy from Des Moines, Iowa.  DiceK got me started many years ago.  Just starting to get some cards again.  Still have not found my old stash in my parents attic.  Next time I am out in PA, I will HAVE to find them.  I am also teaching my 7 year old son how to play.  It has been so long, I am re-learning the game with him.  I have a feeling I could get a couple of his cousins involved as well.  They are in to the super hero thing, so I am trying.

Yea I played 1/2 a dozen games or so but they were all against Onslaught and I was decimated, destroyed, and demoralize ;) But don't have a computer anymore so I am looking for an IPhone app.
there could possible be an app... With no pictures.

Las Vegas, Nevada. This is where I started playing Overpower, and where I currently reside. I remember the game really gaining a huge player base almost immediately through Mission Control, but around that time a lot of the local comic stores began to close (that mid to late 90's comic boom era was coming to a close), which reduced the places to buy and play the game. On top of that, a lot of players like myself were moving into sophomore / junior year in high school and thus had differant things to spend our money on. For me, it was actually another CCG (Star Wars: CCG, still the best CCG system I've ever played IMO). Also, the guy who ran most of the tournaments I believe his name as Carson, either moved or dropped off the face of the map, because the game simply stopped seeing tournament support everywhere I had left to go.
So with that, the game really died before IQ for me. Cards could still be bought here and there, but seeing OP cards was a pleasant surprise. I actually remember on a whim, blowing my last summer job paycheck on about 30 packs of Justice League and a crap load of candy. I regretted the candy purchase, but Justice League kept me tied into the game. Once I graduated high school, the wonderful world of ebay became my friend and I started buying tons of OP collections for 10-50 dollars a pop, which was affordable as people were selling their sets everywhere it seemed. Thanks to this ebay era, I managed to bring my collection close to what it is today, and only a few purchases of the hard to find cards over the last couple of years have brought me to where I am now.
One thing I do find funny though, is that no matter where I go or who I talk to, EVERYONE remembers Overpower (some still have their cards and I haven't been able to talk them out of them yet). I sometimes ask myself where all these people were back when the game was drying up in 1996, but just being able to pull out my two decks and throwdown a nostalgia game with those players is enough.
But yeah, to answer the question I am from Las Vegas, NV.
