Hi Glenn! Welcome to the forums. Good of you to teach OP to a new generation of players.  ;)

I played my first game in 15 years today with my 7 year old son. only played a basic game with the original cards no missions. I built a str deck for him and I used a fighting deck myself. he had Namor, War Machine, Hulk and Thing. I had Wolverine, Sabretooth, Nightcrawler and Captain America. both decks played well and I kept the characters to only having 3 character cards each. he loved it and wants to play against his friends. ftr, I was the winner.... he learned a little bit about holding cards back for defense.... lol

Hey Glenn,

Thanks for sharing that story and experience. Glad to hear you got to play OP again! With all these new comic book movies coming out, I am noticing more interest in comic book heroes from the youngsters so OP is perfect to dust off and teach to a new generation. Those two teams you played with sound so fun. When I was teaching my young niece how to play, she too wasn't holding back for defense. She was always so eager to unleash her strong hits up front. LOL

Wow! That's a nice bunch of cards! Let us know how your other decks worked out.  :)

I'm from Brockton, MA. I was hoping to find some other players in MA.
I just joined the forums. I found my cards recently and I've been trying to get my brother-in-law to play a bit. We have a bit more fun just building decks, I think.

Buildings decks is a lot of fun -especially with all the possibilites out there! I tend to build way more then i could ever playtest  ;D
Beta Ray Bill makes a WHOLE lot more sense at Avengers Mansion than Beyonder showing up and helping out during a fight. - breadmaster

Eponymous

Started playing in BC eons ago, moved to Toronto and I'm now living in St. Catharines, Ontario.

Steino

Hey.  I live near Minneapolis, Minnesota.  I started playing around 1998.  Sadly most of my friends lost interest over the years, but I've always had love for the game even though it has its flaws.

For the most part I am looking for people to play with.  I have a collection that can sustain four players which is the ideal number since my friends and I usually played 2v2 anyway.
