Fairchild Levelheaded Leader DB Special

If this is already answered in the Meta or somewhere else and I missed it, just let me know.

If you have Fairchild's Levelheaded Leader DB Special in hand "Avoids all attacks from 1 teamwork card, or target character must discard 1 placed teamwork card" and your opponent plays a Teamwork card - when is the appropriate time to play the Levelheaded Leader? Do you play it after the first attack or wait until all possible teamwork attacks have been presented? - I only ask because it seems silly to play it before they have all been represented becuase if you play it after the first attack your opponent would know that you were going to block so he could potentially just throw down "junk" knowing it will be blocked and hold back his 7s and 8s.............
