I was checking out "with great power..." and I was wondering if you could keep a duplicate?  Doesn't seem like you could, but I was just wondering...

And in the case of Prof X and Cap, if the drawn card is an attack, but it isn't usually playable by these guys, can they still play it?  Say it's a ko'd teammate's special card, or a teamwork that they normally couldn't play?

As far as the OF coded cards, if the drawn card can be used offensively, it can be immediately played, no matter if its playable or not by that character. So, yes to a KO'd teammate's special card or any teamwork. There's a thread about it here:

There wasn't any room to include it; just assume you can't draw/choose duplicates -- which is kinda a meta rule.

Okay, so Snowbird from Alpha Flight is a little bit better because of that. 

And the way we've always played, if it doesn't specify that you can keep dupes, we discard them.  I'm assuming that's the meta rule.  Thanks for the help guys!  I know I ask alot of questions... I'm like the 5 year old of the forum.  "Why?" "Why?" "How come?" "Why?"

Don't sweat it. That's what these forums are here for...to help get questions answered about the game.  I know I had a million questions when I first found this place.
